Pain of the Trail Blazer

The first babe born of my body-
birthed by the Universe
through my spirit
shaped by Divine Influence
found form in hard work
energized by creative passion
nurtured in the hearts
of like-minded individuals
survived doubts setbacks frustration,
that babe grew to walk.

Like a mother releasing
the hands of the child
who has found power
in her feet,
so I have done with this
first babe born of the universe
through my spirit.
Rejoicing I watch as she
walks into the eternity we call "future".
Weeping I feel coldness descending
as the light and heat of creation
goes with her.
