the way God created me
the spirit my mother saw
when my eyes first opened to the world.

Heart Healing

In this time of great disunity
,the dark night of my soul,
a chill winds its way silently
between my bones and muscles.
My heart once broken
,wishing now to be whole,
is seeking the great elixir
that will drive away the chill,
will melt the ice around my heart.
Truthfulness
Justice
Freedom
Wisdom
Knowledge
dance around the center
of my being-generating heat
pushing back the cold
creating a fire to light
this long dark night of my soul.

In this time of great disunity
a persistent voice quiet at first
then louder and Louder until it became a
SHOUT
"Be at one within that you may be at one without."
Discard the old worn pieces of your
broken heart.
Join together the fragments that fit.
Open your hand to receive the new peices
and fill in the vacant spaces.
Then stand back and gaze with wonder
at the light.

My heart pounds
pounds in anticipation
it is racing with excitement
butterflies in my stomach
breath coming quickly
like one about to meet their love
like one about to discover a treasure
like one who thirsts after a long journey

with hope

seeing the darkness passing
watching the light break on the horizon
feeling the warmth of the Fire
knowing that Love surrounds me

Soul Speak

the bottomless ocean once silent and unmoving
is now rising and swirling with energy
the vast expanse of the universe with her stars
is pulsating with light and vibrancy
the long dark night filled with cold
is being broken and warmed by a dawning sun
the beautiful, glowing, constant moon is bowing
to the brillance and fire of the sun
the rough, cold winds of the North
are crashing into the mild, warm winds of the South
the thunderous, lightening dancing storms
are passing giving way to a gentle comforting rain
my drooping wings are unfolding
my feet captured in muck and mire are released
my eyes are fixed on that dawning sun
in the vast expanse of the Universe
my wings are longing to feel
the touch of that mild,warm wind
i am flying
i am moving with the heat of Love
over the bottomless ocean of my soul
